Unidos 4 Hope is an annual campaign hosted by SinHambre, benefiting our neighbors facing hunger.
What is Unidos 4 Hope?
Sharing food has always been an important part of Hispanic and Latino culture and heritage. Unidos 4 Hope celebrates this tradition by encouraging companies to participate in a friendly competition during Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15).
Our goal is to rally North Texas’ Hispanic/Latino business community and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support the fight against hunger.
Goals for 2023

Raise $50,000, equal to 150,000 nutritious meals.

Collect 1,000 pounds of food.

Register 300 volunteer hours at NTFB.
How You Can Get Involved
North Texas' Hispanic/Latino community is an economic powerhouse with the resources and passion to help make a difference in the fight against hunger.
To meet our goals, we are asking organizations, including Hispanic/Latino Employee Resource Groups (ERG), to form a team to raise funds together, host a canned food drive, or volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank.
How it works:
Teams earn points based on the following criteria.

The SinHambre team will keep track of donations and volunteering throughout Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15 - Oct 15), and post the final results after the campaign.

Top participating companies and teams will be recognized by the North Texas Food Bank and SinHambre.

Unidos4Hope Community Champion Award: Presented to the team with the most points overall.

Unidos4Hope Big Impact Award: Presented to the team with the most points per employee or group member.

Unidos4Hope Healthy Greens Award: Presented to the team making the largest financial donation.

Unidos4Hope Team Spirit Award: Presented to the team that provides the most volunteers.

Unidos4Hope Cornucopia Award: Presented to the team that collects the most pounds of food.

Decide how your organization will participate
Fundraiser
Join forces with your organization to raise funds to buy nutritious food. Every dollar you collect provides three nutritious meals.
Canned Food Drive
Collect food at your office and bring your donations to NTFB by October 25 to receive points. You can pick up boxes from NTFB as well.
Volunteer
Rally your team to volunteer for a
Pack & Box shift at the NTFB.
